Pope LEO XIV is a great listener and has proved that he can communicate with anyone globally, including those who cannot speak and are downtrodden.
He has traveled the world and been a missionary in Peru for 20 years, and has gone to almost all the countries to serve the poor!

He was born in Chicago and his family lineage has deep roots in New Orleans.

At the age of six, he went cycling along with his oldest brother (Louis Prevost). They went to the South Side of Chicago and were accosted by a group of unruly kids wielding knives and shouting threats to them. Louis thought that he should stand up to the gang and told Pope Leo XIV (Robert Prevost at that time) about his plan. However, Robert spoke to his oldest brother and said that he would rather go and speak with the unruly gang. A few minutes later, the gang left them alone and let the brothers go on with their cycling! Louis Prevost considers this incident as a miracle, and he has witnessed to this event of their lives in various interviews.
Pope Leo XIV is a polyglot, fluent in seven languages (Latin, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, and German). His parents had their roots in Spain, France, and Italy including Haitian and Creole ancestry. Apart from these seven languages, I am certain that he knows Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, because he is a Bible scholar. He is also well-versed with all the other world religions because he has meticulously studied them. All the same, he believes that he has to evangelize the Gospel across the world, with a full clarity of tolerance for other belief systems. In short, his personality is a combination of being conservative, inclusive, loving, and understanding. He is a living example of practicing his beliefs in countries across the world.

I hope and pray that his message of peace and love will help to make our world a much better place for everyone!

Pope Leo XIV was an excellent student throughout his life, and was always at the top of every class he ever attended. He has the following degrees — B.Sc. in Mathematics, M.Div. (Magister Divinitatis in Latin – Master of Divinity) and J.C.D. (Juris Canonici Doctor in Latin – Doctor of Canon Law). He desired to be a priest right from the age of five years old! All his playing revolved around acting like a priest and his two brothers used to make fun of him (in their younger years) because they would play more traditional games that boys normally do at young ages. Many of his neighbors and teachers have testified that they always felt that he would become a priest and a couple of people even told his parents that Robert would become the Pope.

Pope Leo XIV is an amateur tennis player and loves playing Wordle (a great Word game). He has played tennis but may not find much time for it with his current position. I believe that the 133 cardinals chose him because of the man he is and for his vast experience across the world in various roles. The cardinals did not consider his American citizenship, or his Chicago upbringing, as important but put emphasis on his truly humanitarian work experience of decades.

Cardinal Prevost was not, and is not, a “showboat”! He is extremely humble, soft-spoken and calm. He is very intelligent and totally compassionate in his outlook, according to all the people he has known throughout his life up to this point. He believes that he has to be a servant and preach the message of Jesus Christ to the world.

May God bless Pope LEO XIV, and help him to bring global harmony in these times of discord!!!
